TEACHING REAL THINGS
Professionnal training is not University. Its purpose is not to pass an exam, nor pleasing a teacher to get a good grade. Its goal is to provide professional tools to work more efficiently.
In order to do that, a good trainer must know his craft masterfully and continually update his knowledge on his field. This allows him to define what is essential and what is less. This sorting work leads to being able to provide the best learning experience possible.
With this essential knowledge synthesized, I can structure a pedagogical progression tailored specifically to the professionals I train. The result : a real improvement in their competence.
ThROUGH PRACTICE !
I lean on a simple, tried-and-true pedagogical method : active participation. Concretely, my training sessions are well-organized progressions of numerous practice workshops.
We first dig into the essential notions, then we integrate them through practice for a better assimilation. I therefore teach using an interactive approach, based on simulation exercises.
This is my vision of the trainer's role : knowing how to position oneself as a resource, to bring the trainees to take part to the training process. Thus, they become actors in the development of their skills. My experience is clear : it is effective!
